Before I started riding, I never realized how much of a mental escape it would be. I had always thought of motorcycles as machines of speed and thrill, but I never expected them to be therapy on two wheels.
On stressful days, I take my bike out for a ride not to go anywhere in particular, just to feel the road beneath me and the wind on my face. There’s something about riding that clears the mind, that forces you to focus only on the present moment. The constant adjustments, the rhythmic breathing, the sensation of leaning into turns it all feels almost meditative.
Physically, riding has made me stronger. Keeping balance, handling the weight of the bike, gripping the handlebars it’s an unexpected workout. And mentally? It has made me more patient, more alert, more adaptable.
But more than anything, riding has made me appreciate life in a different way. It’s not just about the destination it’s about enjoying the ride, both on the road and in life.
